Trauma-Relief through EMDR, DBR & Somatic Care

In a world that moves fast, your mental health matters. We’re here to help you slow down, tune in, and build lasting emotional resilience.

EMDR is a research-backed, integrative therapy designed to help people heal from trauma and emotional distress. It supports the brain in reprocessing stuck or unprocessed memories so that they no longer trigger overwhelming reactions in the present. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds) while the client brings to mind a distressing memory. This process helps the nervous system release the emotional charge and allows the brain to file the memory as resolved..

Our Approach

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

DBR is a cutting edge approach that initiates the brainstem to process unresolved traumatic symptoms. This approach appears to be more gentle than other trauma modalities and in turn requires less “readiness” for trauma work.

Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)

Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma, stress, and emotional overwhelm. It was developed by Dr. Peter Levine, who believed that trauma is stored in the body—not just the mind—and that healing needs to involve the nervous system, not just talking about what happened.

Structural Dissociation Theory

Structural Dissociation is a trauma theory that explains why you can feel like “different versions of yourself” in different situations—calm one moment, panicked the next. It’s not about having multiple personalities; it’s about parts of you getting stuck in survival mode because of unresolved trauma. Using SDT, we explore the beliefs and functions of these parts in order to reduce the negative impact certain parts have on life.
